E3- Mkanga

Sunday we had a relaxing day, except for the flat tire before church! However, we still made it in time for the message.

Monday was a national holiday here, so E3 had another mobile clinic. This village was up in the mountains. There were several clinical officers and myself, and we saw over 700 patients. The malaria testing station ran out of tests, but fortunately most of them were negative, anyway. I think the coolness of the mountains decreased the mosquito activity. There were 96 people referred for HIV testing and all were negative.

Today (Tuesday)we leave for Pothawira, down by the lake. We will travel today and start working in the clinic there tomorrow. I am unsure if we will have internet, but I will keep you posted!

Enjoy the photos.
